The Mondulkiri Elephant & Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected forest area & eco-tourism wildlife conservation project near Sen Monorom, Mondulkiri province, Cambodia.
The sanctuary is a non–profit community project, developed and sponsored by L.E.A.F Cambodia: a local conservation & environmental protection NGO.
L.E.A.F's development of community based, conservation tours & ecotourism programs, creates sustainable livelihoods that benefits many of Mondulkiri’s indigenous people as well as sponsor the retirement & care of Mondulkiri’s domestic working elephants.
L.E.A.F is working towards expanding protected forest areas, establishing an active reforestation program in Mondulkiri & making conservation education available to local Cambodian youth.

We offer several tour programs to the elephant sanctuary & surrounding protected community forests. Our tours are designed for visitors interested in ethical wildlife tourism & conservation. Visitor contributions directly sponsor our working elephant retirement program, local forest protection & wildlife rescues.
During sanctuary treks, overnight tours & ethical elephant experiences, you will get a chance to explore Mondulkiri’s unique natural habitats and ethnic culture, learn about elephant care, get close and interact with the elephants, feed them, bath & groom them at the Sanctuary rainforest elephant pool.
